PHAB Club (9 to 90 years old)

Prince Philip Centre PHAB Club based in Leeds 7, meets on Friday evenings at 7.00pm. It is a city-wide charity caring for people with disabilities and their able bodied friends.

There is a wide programme of activities on Club evenings, outings and residentials throughout the year.

Most of the members are older, but we have always been a 'haven' for teenagers with disabilities who found it difficult to keep friends once into their teens when their school 'pals' started to go out into town shopping and to cinemas etc.  They felt 'left out and lonely' and contacted PHAB.

Many of our disabled members stay a life time with PHAB and the last group of 'teenagers' are now a bit older - but we might well get enquiries from teenagers once the term starts again.

We do have able bodied 6th form students who 'befriend' any members and help to make the Club Fun.
