Living Potential
Living Potential transforms lives by offering a sanctuary where people and nature thrive together. We provide over 135 opportunities per week for adults and young people with learning and physical disabilities, neurodiversity, and mental health issues to improve their lives through meaningful, nature based work within our Care farm and community gardens. Our members thrive from peaceful & purposeful interaction with our animals, including chickens, rabbits, sheep, goats & alpacas, as well as horticultural, DIY, arts and crafts, cooking, and many more work based activities. We aim to create a world in which people look after themselves, each other and the planet.
Our Care Farm Provision - we provide adults 18+ with identified support needs (such as learning and physical disabilities, sensory disabilities, and neurodiversity) with supported day opportunities within our care farm environment. This purposeful work including animal and plant care, cooking, DIY, arts and crafts and lots more.
Calm@thefarm is for young people aged 10-18 years old who identify as Neurodivergent - they can visit the farm alternative Saturdays (1.30pm - 3.30pm during term time) and enjoy arts, crafts and animal care in a calm and safe environment
Our Community Gardens provision is for people 18+ with mental health challenges, neurodiversity and young onset dementia. It includes working in the therapeutic setting of our formerly derelict Victorian Walled Garden, helping to grow seasonal fruit/veg and look after our animals.
