This service supports parent carers.
They do not work directly with children.
They can help by offering:
- Advice Line – someone to talk to, plus information and guidance
- 1:1 support – in person or on the phone
- Support groups – meet other people who have similar experiences
- Information – to help with caring
- Help to apply for a Max Card
They also support parent carers with:
- Health and wellbeing
- Relationships
- Managing money and practical tasks
- Finding time for yourself
Their approach is flexible because every carer is different.
