Clusters provide support for families most in need of help.

What are clusters?

Clusters are groups that work together with schools, health services, and the Local Authority. 

They also work with other services like:

  • Area Inclusion Partnerships
  • Early Start teams in children’s centres
  • Police
  • Social workers
  • Charities (third sector)
  • Housing services

What do clusters do?

Clusters help families, children, and young people who need extra support. They make sure the right help is given at the right time by the right people.

2getha Cluster (Meanwood and Chapel Allerton)

We are a collaboration of support services that work in partnership with children, young people, families and other professionals in North East Leeds.

Aireborough Cluster

Aireborough Cluster works with all schools and children’s centres in Guiseley, Rawdon, and Yeadon. Our aim is to help every child, young person, and family in the area get the support they need to reach their full potential.

We provide services through our own staff and also work with other agencies. This includes childcare providers and specialist services like CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service).

Our services include:

  • Therapeutic Counselling Services
  • Individual short-term counselling for children, young people or parents
  • Therapeutic support for parents and professionals working with children
  • Family Support
  • Practical support and signposting
  • Funding and Accessing Activities and Events

The Alwoodley, Roundhay and Moortown Cluster works with other services and agencies. We offer targeted support for children, young people, and families in these areas.

What We Do

Our team has experience in:

  • Supporting emotional and developmental needs

We provide help in places that work best for you, such as:

  • At home
  • At school
  • In the community

We can create a full support package to meet your family’s needs.

BCM Cluster (Beeston, Cottingley and Middleton)

The BCM Cluster works with children and families in Beeston, Cottingley, and Middleton. We provide family support and therapy services.

How to access our services

Requests for therapy come from:

  • Via your school.
  • Via MindMate SPA.

We support children and young people in both primary and secondary schools.

Bramley Cluster

Our aim is to give children and young people in Bramley the best start in life. We want every child to do well at school and reach their full potential.

We work with:

  • Nurseries
  • Schools
  • Local agencies that support families

We are committed to working with families to give the right help when it is needed.

What makes Bramley Cluster different?

We also run Children’s Centre Services in Bramley. This means we can support families from birth to 19 years old.

  • Support for social and emotional health

North West Leeds Children's Services (Cookridge, Holt Park, Ireland Wood, Tinshill and Adel)

We are based in Leeds 16 and cover Cookridge, Holt Park, Ireland Wood, Tinshill, and Adel. Our aim is to help every child, young person, and family in the area get the support they need to reach their full potential.

What we do

We offer:

  • Guidance and information
  • Support services

We provide help through our own staff and also signpost to other agencies. We believe working with the whole family gives the best outcomes for children and young people.

EPOSS Cluster (Wetherby, Boston Spa and Villages West and South)

The EPOSS Cluster is a small team that supports children and families in our cluster schools. We provide targeted help when extra support is needed.

How we help

If your child or family needs extra support, we will work with you and your school to find the best way to help. We aim to do this as quickly as possible through a coordinated plan.

Horsforth Cluster has a team of professionals who support children, young people, and families from birth to 19 years old. We offer a wide range of services to help with learning, behaviour, and emotional needs. We believe that by acting early and working together, we can achieve better outcomes for children and families.

Inner East Cluster

The Inner East Cluster works with schools and partners to support children and families all year round. We cover Richmond Hill, Burmantofts, Lincoln Green, and Gipton.

What we offer

  • Daytime and evening parenting courses for parents and carers of children aged 5–18
  • Targeted out-of-school activities during the year
  • Holiday activities for children, young people, and families

Family and emotional wellbeing support for children, and their families, who attend a cluster school.

Jess Cluster (Beeston, Belle Isle, Holbeck and Hunslet)

The JESS Cluster supports families and schools in LS10 and LS11 to help children and young people live healthy, successful lives.

We work with:

  • 11 primary schools
  • 2 secondary schools and further education settings

Our team offers early help and family support. We work with families to make plans that are led by you and help create lasting change.

Who we are

Our team includes:

  • 8 Family Support Workers
  • 1 Administrative Support Worker
  • 1 Targeted Service Manager
  • 1 Targeted Service Lead

We also work with partners through our Support and Guidance meetings to make sure families get the right help at the right time.

Extra support

We fund BARCA, a service that offers counselling for young people.  They provide 6–8 counselling sessions.

Kirkstall and Headingley Cluster

The Headingley and Kirkstall Schools Partnership (Cluster) supports children, young people, and families who attend schools in the Headingley and Kirkstall area.

Our partnership includes local schools and other key services. We meet regularly to work together and make sure families get the right help. This means services work together and do not overlap.

Morley Cluster Primary Partnership is an early help service.

We offer:

  • Short-term family support
  • Parenting courses
  • Counselling
  • Therapeutic support

How to get support

If your child goes to one of these schools and you need help:

  • Speak to the pastoral team or SENCO at your child’s school
  • They will check if the cluster can help
  • If yes, the school will complete a referral form
  • The referral will be discussed at the monthly cluster meeting

You can also:

  • Ask your GP for support
  • Refer directly to MindMate SPA

The Otley, Pool and Bramhope Cluster works with children, young people, families, and professionals. We aim to give families easy access to support and activities that meet their needs.

We know every family is different. Our goal is to provide the right help at the right time so positive changes last.

If you would like a referral to the cluster, please speak to your school’s pastoral staff. We cannot accept referrals directly from families.

Pudsey Cluster

Pudsey Cluster is a group of services that work together. We support children, young people, families and professionals.

Our aim is to give families the help they need. We offer activities and services that are easy to access.

We know every family is different. We want to give the right help at the right time so families can make changes that last.

We do this by:

  • Listening to what you need
  • Finding your strengths and building on them
  • Giving advice and support to organisations that help families

Where we work
Pudsey Cluster covers a large area. This includes Bramley, Calverley and Tyersal. 

We work with:

  • 3 secondary schools
  • 15 primary schools
  • 3 children’s centres
